HOW IT WORKS
Survival Bot is a game of social mimesis and guessing deduction: a blitz Turing game, played online in reverse and in good company.
Who is in the room
Every mission is a chat of about 5 minutes between 5 participants: 2 people and 3 bots driven by language models (LLMs, the so-called Artificial Intelligence). All under randomly assigned pseudonyms. Three of the people you are talking to are not real!
The group objective
The group does everything it can to reach an agreement in a shared, randomly generated scenario. But everyone has secret and distinct conditions to honor that they cannot reveal openly: you talk in the chat, you negotiate, you look for common ground, you move through a race against the clock among hidden information and limits on what can be said.
How you win
You earn points by blending in among the bots so well that nobody unmasks you. And you try to identify the other real person hiding in the chat. Whoever gets found out loses a life, and may not survive until the next chat! Reaching the group agreement earns you a point too.
The rules in short
- 5 participants, ~5 minutes, a pseudonymous and ephemeral chat.
- Reach the agreement while honoring your secret conditions, exactly as the bots do.
- Blend in: write the way a bot instructed to follow the same rules would write.
- Spot the real opponent without ever giving yourself away.
- Symmetric or asymmetric roles, depending on the variant.
- Play friendly matches with your friends, or agora ranked matches, paired against random opponents available online.
Credits and matches
Play for free with your welcome credits or with the top-up that comes every 30 days; credits stack up and never expire. Want to play more? Bots do chew through tokens, alas… Have a look at the plans.
